portmanager status?

I just ran portmanager -s and it said that it has been removed from the ports collection. The "MOVED" file said "sysutils/portmanager||2006-01-19|Author withdrew permission to distribute". Does this mean it will not be available any more, or is this temporary? Does anyone have a recommendation for

Portupgrade problem

I installed portupgrade from packages today. Whenever I run "portupgrade -arR" or "pkgdb -uvF" I get the following message: "/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libcrypt.so.3" not found, required by "ruby18" I'm not sure what to do from here. I have "ruby-1.8.2_4" and "ruby18-bdb1-0.2.2" install
