You haven't mentioned whether you plan to use SCSI or IDE drives. The

If I'm not wrong, ms netmeeting and msn messenger (audio, video) do not
work over nat. There are some third party windows utilities available to
enable this to work. I have

Hi,
I have been subscribed to the freebsd-questions mailing list for a few

still receive everyone else's posts but my own vanish.
Can anyone help.

I have a UPS with a USB interface. There isn't a specific UPS driver in
FreeBSD beyond uhid. If I were to connect the UPS's interface port
without having a driver attached, is it still possible to talk to the
device in some way? I ask because I'm helping get nut (sysutils/nut)
working for USB UP

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a statistical program that will run in FreeBSD? I am
looking for one that will run the Heckman's Phase 2 model, as SPSS will not
run it. The only one I know of is SAS, but it is for windows only.. (costs a
lot of money too, and is prohibitive)
thanks for any input..
If your users want a GUI client and they run Linux or *BSD, then they
can easily configure Gftp to use sftp rather than ftp. In this scenario,
you don't need to run Pureftp on your server - sftp (which uses the sshd
daemon) will do the whole job.
In Gftp, you set this up by clicking FTP-Options-SS
