On my secondary desktop machine, that I use for testing purposes, I have it setup to triple-boot Gentoo Linux/FreeBSD/OpenBSD. I had fbsd 4.9 installed and the following in grub.conf worked: root (hd0,1,a) kernel /boot/loader I just installed 5.2.1 on the same partitions, but it cannot boot with
