Configuration was a breeze, and I have complete functionality. However, I
can't determine what nameserver the pppoe connection is directing FreeBSD to
use.
With the netgear router, th

This surprises me, since you shouldn't have a ppp0 interface, and
PPPoE doesn't use DHCP to supply IP addresses.

Hello All,
Sorry if this was discused here before but I couldn't find it on archives..
I have an ADSL PPPoE connection with my Internet provider, my modem is
an Alcatel

Hi,
Is there anyone who has run with success the Modem Alcatel Speedtouch
330 (USB) using the PPPOE, for FreeBSD 4.9?
Where can I find Alcatel Speedtouch 330 drivers or (ports) for FreeBSD
4.9 using the PPPOE?
I'm trying to connect this kind of Modem in my system FreeBSD 4.9, but
the only drivers I

Second, the other site you have pointed out: http://myfreebsd.homeunix.net is
accessible.
Third, the PPPoE connect works perfect, when configured the way you described.
Although I have no

Hello,
I am another one (yet one more?) who was trying to install FreeBSD using PPPoE
