It seems to be a pure problem of hostname. I have now
given the hostname 'cathy.alfa.net' in my '/etc/hosts'
and '/etc/rc.conf' file. The contens os both the files
are as under:
Here 192.168.1.14 is the ip of the machine running
apache.
