Not 100% sure, but you don't have a keyboard device in your kernel
(device atkbdc0). I figure if you're compiling in a console (sc0),
that you'll need at least atkbdc0.

It's not harmfull to replay the whole process,
The way i do it is go to the dir
cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/
edit the GENERIC file,
cd ../compile/GENERIC
make clean && make depend && make && make install
the && makes sure the next command only get's runned when
the previous command complet
