Firefox keeps a lock file at $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/{hash.something}/lock . Delete that and try again. Or just run "firefox -no-remote -P" and create another profile. You should find backups of your bookmarks in the older profile's folder, so you can recover them. Greetings, Thomas Thu, Aug 09, 2
