archivers/p7zip
It has among the best compression ratios.

Hello, Freebsd-questions.
I use FreeBSD 7.2-STABLE amd64. About month ago system was crashed
with "Fatal trap 12"...
I bay new hardware and install new FreeBSD 7.2-STABLE amd64. cPanel
and ASSP (anti spam proxy). And one a day or two days have this:
Fatal trap 12: page fault while
=(128*1024*1024)
also in /boot/loader.conf:
kern.maxdsiz="1075771824" # 1GB
kern.dfldsiz="1075771824" # 1GB
kern.maxssiz="268435456" # 128MB
What can I do for solve this error?

I've got a CD/DVD recorder: 'HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B' and would like
to record on DVD-RAM's.
Sadly I've never got that packet writing working on FreeBSD, just on
Linux - so my gue

but after some reboots he managed to write the label on ar0.
only thing is, i cant write data...

I recently installed FreeBSD on a AMD64 computer.
Installed subversion.
and no firewall.
But now I can't connect to port 3690:
telnet localhost 3690
works fine
othermachine# telnet thatmachine 3690
will not work.
any suggestions?

mount -t msdos /dev/ad0s1 /mnt
do it.
As i can see, you've build your custom kernel. Have a look whether you
have included the line:
options MSDOSFS #MSDOS Filesystem
in your configuration file.
