In case it is of any help to anyone, I recently got two of my mice
running on FreeBSD 5.4 with Xorg, and I could post the Xorg conf files
I ended up using.
One of the mice is an A4Tech Optical GreatEye, which has two mice
wheels. One is for up-and -down, the other wheel is for right-to-left

Hi, i realize this is really basic, but i dont
actually know how cvsup works when youre not calling
it through cvsup.
What i mean is, when i want to update things i do "cd
/usr/ports && make update" or
"cd /usr/src && make update", i dont do cvsup
directly.

Hi. i just installed OpenOffice 1.1.2 from a package;
i need to work with some PowerPoint presentations and
it seemed the best way.
It looked like the install went fine, but now i cant

im running 5-CURRENT right now, and am excited to
upgrade to 5.3-STABLE when its finally released.
Are there any SPECIFIC instructions on how to do this
upgrade? Or will there be any when the release
happens?

I'd like to upgrade to the x.org series from XFree86.
Is there any simple guide to how to do this? There's
nothing in /usr/ports/UPDATING. I see that some people
have reported general success, but I'm worried that
I'll miss something or forget about rebuilding
something in the three days it'll ta

I'm using Mozilla on FreeBSD 4.9. When I click on a
PDF, it prompts me to use gpdf to view it, and then
will open it up in a separate window. Is there a
plugin I can use so that it opens right in the browser
window? The only Mozilla plugins I found in the Ports
collection were for Flash.
Thanks!
