transfer rate from the attached drive also seems to be USB1-ish:
11:54 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ # !513
dd if=/dev/da0 of=/dev/null bs=1m count=10
10+0 records in
10+0 records out
10485760 bytes transferred in 10.137750 secs (1034328 bytes/sec)
Any clues?

n, you can use geli(8). This encrypts the raw disk
with AES. I'm using it with my USB backup disk.
Yes, I'm aware of that. I guess my question was: why did you refer to
this particular enclosure? Or you just happen to have this one and this
is the reason?

Yep, this looks interesting. However, can you say if there is any
significant advantage of this Saturn enclosures over "standard" ones,
besides the cyphering feature?
Thanks!

o external HDD won't probably work for me. My data size is
currently about 50G, but I expect it to grow to about 250G. My price
range is below $300.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

Is there a way to find out a process that has opened and then
unlinked a file without closing it ? How to find inodes unreferenced by
directory entries ?
