I will try this. Thanks.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for letting me know about this option. Unfortunately, the
specific configure options I am looking for are not listed there. Is
there another way to go in and modify the configuration?

Hi all,
I am installing an upgrade to the Cyrus email server. Our existing
email boxes are in a database format that is no longer used by Cyrus;
however, there is a configuration option which will instruct the new
version to use the old database format. They are

Hi all,
This probably isn't a FreeBSD-specific problem, but it's vexing nonetheless.
So we have our servers accessing the outside world through their own
firewall on a FreeBSD machine. Nothing too fancy, just routing
traffic and shutting off unused ports. However, this morning the

Perhaps I am missing something incredibly stupid here, but I can't
source the vars file that is part of the OpeVPN configuration process:
# source ./vars

I am going to try a make clean and see how that works. I already tried it,
though, so I am not too hopeful at this point.
The fact that sq. mail isn't loading is the very problem. PHP page aren't
working correctly.
I am not seeing any relevant errors in httpd-errors.

Hi all,
I have a FreeBSD 6.0 system which had PHP4 running perfectly fine on it.
However, I wanted to install Horde (www.horde) with IMP, which requires IMAP
support, so I decided to try and recompile PHP using
/usr/ports/lang/php4-extensions, first running make deinstall in

Hi all,
I am trying to install MySQL server 4.1 on a FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE machine,
but am getting an error when attempting to do so:

Hello all,
I have a server running FreeBSD 5.2.1 that provides (amongst other
things) MTA services to our office via sendmail. For a variety of a

the postfix package cannot, as I am sure you know, simply install with
