karound I've found is to start ripping the track, and let it crash the computer, then encode the track when it boots back up. Not a very happy workaround, as I have to fsck every time. :( Any help or suggestions you can offer are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mac -- Mac Newbold

yer to extreme levels, such that it probably has buffered the entire song, but it still doesn't help the problem, not even before the buffer is used up. Any suggestions or ideas of what might be causing this or what might help fix it are welcome. Has anyone seen or heard anythi
