Updating java/jdk16 is going to be a slow process. There are lots of
changes
work to run an application with a different VM?
Its primary purpose is to run applications with different VMs.

The browser plugin for jdk13 does not work with Mozilla 1.7 at present.
You need to use the plugin from jdk14 instead.
