I just successfully did ``make buildworld'' and ``make buildkernel'' on
HEAD updated about 4 hours ago. This is a 6-core AMD64 system.
I have WITH_BSD_SORT defined but I DO NOT have

Actually it's already present in /usr/src/share/syscons/keymaps, but for
some reason it doesn't get installed.

Add this to /boot/load
4G in
loader.conf and see whether that affects thunderbird/firefox. Who
knows, there may some weird problem caused by all that memory? That
would a fairly quick and cheap way to test this.

This feature is mentioned as a mechanism which could be used as part of
the automatic reporting functionality. So it's not quite the same thing.

I encountered no errors at all.
Note that, since this was never installed before, I ended up installing
most of the dependencies from scratch.
That may be a clue. I personally would try deinstalling/reinstalling
its dependencies _by hand_.
Note that I pers

preserve my sanity.

Not a very useful "error" message.
I just installed it (9-CURRENT AMD64) and it works just fine for me. At
the way to go. I've been using
it under 8-current for a few months and it beats the socks off of qemu
performance-wise.

I don't have flashblock installed, but http://www.mtvmusic.com/ hangs
firefox 100% of the time. Strangely enough, under Linux it works just
fine and I have pretty much the same version of
en't supported out-of-the-box.
The user has to install a port, e.g. cdrecord.

The only standalone dictionary I know of in ports is for German (de-dict).

The obvious conclusion is that your ISP is sending an invalid IP

Remove ``enable dns'' and manually edit /etc/res

Almost definitely hardware. Bad memory, overheating CPU, overclocked CPU,
etc. Also the BIOS settings for memory may be too aggressive leading
to memory errors (I've done that).

I know someone who has an IDE tapedrive, although I can't say whether
he has the same model.
Anyway, he has to use at least 32 kB blocks when he writes to it.
So try this:
tar cbf 64 /dev/ast0
Read the tar man page for what th
hecks whether the send queue is full. IF_HANDOFF()
is invoked (among other places) in /sys/net/netisr.c and
/sys/net/if_ethersubr.c.
I remember running into this situation while debugging ISDN drivers,
many of which use IF_HANDOFF(). Most moden ethernet drivers don't seem
to use it any more.

For some reason most people think that this message means they've run

But I may be wrong, so I'm Cc'ing this to -hackers.

Actually, the cpdup was from me and not Jerry McAllister.
I just made the comment re: inode-per-inode because AFAIK that's the
way dump/restore will work. I'm not aware of an advantage or disadvantage
to using dump/restore (except for restoring from tape) but thought that

If you don't need inode-per-inode cloning then try
/usr/ports/sysutils/cpdup.
