Removing extra locales

Hello, I was installing some software from ports on FreeBSD-7.2 machine and noticed that a lot of locales (languages) are being installed. But I definitely don't need all of them. Is there a generic way to tell the ports that I need only certain locales? Does it make sense to do so or it's better

BDECFLAGS in make.conf

Hi, The example make.conf has a comment about BDECFLAGS variable, which is "suggested for use in developing FreeBSD". But when I tried to use it "make buildworld" fails ("inline" is not defined). Is this variable really supposed to be in make.conf, or did I misunderstand something? Thanks a lot,
