I have ELINE 576-PS (PCTel PCT789T-A Chipset) internal modem device and need to
set it up under FreeBSD 4.7 box. GENERIC kernel says when booting:
pci0: (vendor=0x134d, dev=0x7897) at 11.0 irq 9
As you see my modem is unknown for GENERIC kernel. I saw
/boot/defaults/loader.conf and found no lin
I made a mistake while editting /etc/rc.conf.
Now my system boots only in single-user mode and with root filesystem
mounted read-only. In this mode as you see I'm unable to correct
/etc/rc.conf because I have no write permissions on my filesystem.
What should I do, can anybody help me please?
