AFAIK you need "apic" and "smp" options in your kernel config; of

tarball) the anon.ftp directory (pub) from our old ftp server to the
new FreeBSD server.
In the new server users get same loginnames, but UIDs are different from
UID at old server, so I manually did the necessary
