I have been trying to kill the process by pulling natd.pid
below are 3 typical examples among a couple dozens I tried
kill -9 $(natd.pid)
Illegal variable name
kill -9 '/var/run/natd.pid'
kill: Arguments should be jobs or process id's
cat /var/run/natd.pid | kill -9
(no error returned, but natd
Has anyone gotten this to work at all? I've been tearing my hair out for 2
days now trying to troubleshoot this printer. I've gotten it to the point
where the printer is recognized in CUPS web interface, but when I try to
print a test page, the status is "Unknown" and error_log shows printer.cgi
I've had this issue previously when the kernel was not compiled using SMP when
there was more than one processor in the server.

I recently obtained a very decent ups, however it is not supported by NUT.
It does however come with winpower software that does run on FreeBSD.
However it rewuired java.
