No releases upstream for nearly 3 years, explicitly marked
deprecated/maintenance only upstream, see:

There's a 3.2.0 release upstream that looks to support Python 3, but it is
explicitly marked as "being maintained on life support" upstream, and there's
no maintainer for the port. So unless someone steps
