Duplicate bug is no problem, they're easy to change.
Interestingly, I don't see that build failure without the extra patch. I'm not
sure why.

I didn't notice that you had already opened an issue, sorry.
The _decimal.c changes are generally required because the mpdecimal.h header
has been cleaned up. There were some leftovers like the typedef
