Thank you for the detail and confirmation. Danilo (dbaio) is taking care of
QA'ing Firefox/Thunderbird with (only) JSOn1 enabled. We should be good to
progress this and the dependent issue after that

For the time being there is a forwarding in place to the new repo. So the
change is more a matter of long term hygiene.

Well sphinx is usually used for generating docs, so ports that need 2.7 can
loose their extra documentation either until they get updated or get removed.

Yes, I do. I use the packages and source from the SVN repo. I also use
/usr/local… not smart enough to change any of that without breakage so I
leave it all alone.

The latest version of Sphinx is 3.0.2, there are a few ports that doens't build
with it, e.g. the full set of LLVM, more details on bug 245629, it's not just
an issue with Python 2.7 here.
