A portupgrade -a creates the following messages:

Currently when I run sudo I'm getting a "Last login" line output
before every command,
pam_lastlog(8) makes the message. If you don't need it, comment out
'session include system' line in ${LOCALBASE}/etc/pam.d/sudo.

For those updating to recent 8-current, make fetchindex fails as follows:
% cd /usr/ports
% make fetchindex
fetch: http://www.FreeBSD.org/ports/INDEX-8.bz2: Not Found
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports.
%
For short-term solution: fetch http://www.FreeBSD.org/ports/INDEX-7.bz2
manually, bunzip2
> It's there now and updated regularly with the other INDEXs.
