ji.so -> /usr/local/diablo-jre1.6.0/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so It is neccesary to symlink it into /usr/local/lib/firefox3/plugins manually for it to work. I have not had any problems with the plugin on Firefox 3.5 using that approach.
