Question about port startup, /usr/local/etc/rc.conf.d

Hi, all, with new installations I started to keep an empty /etc/rc.conf and put all settings into /etc/rc.conf.d and /usr/local/etc/rc.conf.d. Example: root@gimli:~ # ll /etc/rc.conf.d total 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 13 Nov 2 15:07 dumpon -rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 17 Nov 2 15:06 hostname -
