I am experiencing a problem with this port under FreeBSD 9, x86 and amd_64
versions.
When I run my mono application using the mono keyword, the application
executes properly.
However, when I run the application without the mono keyword, with the
mono-kmod port installed and configured (mono
Hi!
I freshly built x11/xorg and x11/kde4 on FreeBSD 10-CURRENT and was
ready to use it with new Intel driver, but
after I kldloaded i915kms.ko and started X, KDE just hung up at its
splash screen after displaying its logo (last icon). Then screen got
blank with only a movable mouse cursor on it.
Hello Mark,
thank you for the report. It's a long time ago when I wrote the code. I
suppose something fundamental has changed in the kernel in the meantime.
Unfortunately I'm very busy at the moment, so I can't have a closer look
at it now. I put the issue on my to do list and I will deal with it

The "multimedia/linux-realplayer" port has been marked
"BROKEN=unfetchable" for awhile now. Has there been any movement on a
resolution for this problem.

Unless a legal mirror is found, I'm afraid we can't provide it; mirroring
is forbidden.

if you have a copy of it, that matches SIZE and SHA256, why not host it
and open a pr to change the master

Sorry, I read the answer but I forgot to to ask to CC me since I'm not
subscribed to the list :S
I had a look at the Opera port. The script is uses is a non-gui one.
The applications I'm talking about provide full graphical installation
programs.
I suppose I should try to somehow get rid of them.

I'm stuck with this nasty error in print/foomatic-db-engine, which
prevents me from updating ports relying on this specific port.
This problem is sticky on all FreeBSD 10-CURRENT boxes.
/usr/local/bin/perl -p -i -e
"s:foomatic-templates:/usr/local/share/foomatic//templates:g"
//usr/local/sbin/foo

Interesting, last time I checked FreeBSD Wiki on Intel_GPU, it was
saying 'kldload i915kms && startx'.
Anyway, the system never hung up after I many times followed the instruction,
it's just KDE isn't able to finish its startup.

That's fine, but the port should be removed unless Real makes the file
available again. It is not an attrac
