Since I upgraded to FreeBSD 7.2 (from 7.1), my Pike installation has been
hanging regularly. When this happens, there is always one pike process in
[wait] state and one in [umtxn] (from top).
Thinking I might solve it by recompiling, I tried removing it and compiling
from ports. However, the

I use Pike frequently on 7.2 systems, but haven't seen this prob

Chris Petrik made an update for print/hplip
port to version 3.9.6. The maintainer didn't respond, so I thought
it'd be nice to test the update before committing and also decide
whether it requires a repocopy to preserve current version of hplip.

libtool: Version mismatch error. This is libtool 2.2.6
Debian-2.2.6a-4, but the
libtool: definition of this LT_INIT comes from an older release.
have just noticed that this was fixed after a ports tree update..

It's just that we have a software using mysql as a backend and we have a
performance problem that was fixed in mysql 5.4.
We compiled it by hand and we are satisfied with the stability of it.
We would like to have it before the 10th of july because we are planning a
maintenance window on the 17
