pkg-config and library dependencies

Hello everyone, This morning I ran a `readelf -d' on an application that I maintain (audio/herrie) and I saw that my application depends on a lot of libraries that the application doesn't use anyway, but get pulled in recursively. If I understand correctly, this is bad behaviour. If your applicat
