I have added a section to xorg.conf for the stylus. It now shows up in
xsetwacom and works, but it's very intermittent.
When I use the stylus, it can take over 20 tries before the mouse cursor
will actually move. When it does, it keeps working until I take the
stylus away from the tablet, then

devd(8) hotplugging is currently partially broken. See bug 196678.
Either apply one of the attached patches, use HAL or configure manually.

I have the same problem with my kvm when switching ports, though
with the base system rather than xorg (I use xfce as the window
layer, and it doesn't scold me for "unplugging" the device). I've
been looking at the source when I've had time, but haven't quite
tracked down the code that wants fixed,

I have a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet I would like to get working on FreeBSD
again (it used to work).
My system is FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE on amd64. I have webcamd and
xf86-input-wacom installed.
There appears to be 2 problems:
1. Xorg is not being configured when the device is plugged in.
(xset
