What do you think about options in texlive-texmf? I'm using a small
part of texlive-texmf, I don't use e.g. bibtex (I write only small
documents, exams), chinese, arabic fonts, etc. - so I don't need these
files.

I think the /usr/local/etc/pkg.conf is bad. If you rename it to
pkg.conf.old can build and install. I don't know the reason exactly
but this is a typical "works4me"-case :)

I think the texlive-base port/package is working with version 2012.
But the texlive-texmf needed to update. I've reported a request [1

I'm using tmux but installed now screen and as I see there's not vertical split.

Do what pkg said :)
In /usr/local/etc/pkg/FreeBSD.conf should replace:
enabled:"yes"
to
enabled:true
And everything will fine

As I see girara depency changed gtk2 to gtk3 (see
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/183842 ). I don't
want/need to install gtk3 if it's possible (I don't have port which
