Have you already seen gnome-netstatus port is broken due to a bad call to
src/sys/dev/wi/if_wavelan_ieee.h.
ports/gnome-netstatus/src/netstatus-sysdeps.c is patched by adding support
for wireless compatibility with these lines ..
