I am using dar with encryption, but in the Makefile the default is to
disable the libgcrypt linking.
For enabling encryption I need to modify the Makefile:
# diff Makefile.orig Makefile

the apcupsd.conf file is the default one with only tree lines changed:
UPSCABLE usb
UPSTYPE usb
DEVICE
the apcupsd deamon start successfully but running apcaccess the STATUS
line is blank:
# apcaccess
