e complete Erlang port with its Java dependencies and such is just not
feasible on my server.
I had to portdowngrade to R13B04 and 2.1.4 for now; going to build 2.1.5
in a testing environment.

I've just tried to upgrade my 2.1.4 to 2.1.5 which steadily results in
crashes without any logs; I only get crash dumps.

ejabberd doesn't have mirror sites so it's not quite possible to add
some. I can, though, host the file on my own server if that's allowed.
About absolute pathnames, how should a port refer to /var/spool and
/var/run?
