It would be great to get a working digital video recorder in ports and
remove a dependency on Python 2.7.

They are stable and well maintained upstream with only occasional
maintenance releases. Alas I am unable to spend as much as time they
deserve.

I've been able to build pulseaudio with clang using the attached patch
and thus far it appears to be working ok on 9.0-RELEASE i386.
