Why pearpc port (emulators/pearpc) was marked as BROKEN, DEPRECATED etc.
It working for me, compile without any error with base compiler:

I still have problems with opera in xfce4.
xfce-4.8 + xf86-video-ati-6.14.1_1 + some apps = system permanently hungs.
Also crashes occurs with following apps: xfce4-taskmanager, remmina, opera,

I've filed the maintainer update (ports/156253) a week ago. It should
upgrade Boost to the actual version 1.46.1.
Since then there are no news on this.
Is there any issues with the PR itself?

For some important scientific software provided by NASA, ESA and JPL, I
need xerces-c3 library on my system. But there is always a conflict with
textproc/xalan-c, which requires textproc/xerces-c2. Xerces-c3 and
Xerces-c2 seem to install files at the same place, even the libraries
