So trying to track down this diablo problem and having something similar (at least in appearance) with xchat. Trying to rebuild everything (IRC suggestion) with portupgrade -rRf xchat to no avail as I can't seem to build p5-XML-Parser ... it seems to be the only port on my system that won't build.
