Pardon if this has been posted.
What is really the behavior of the system when
it rate limit icmp (e.g. ICMP response)? Does it
drop the excess of the outbound ICMP responses? If so,
is their a way to see dropped responses from logs or other
mechanism? Can this be turned-on at the inboun

what are the IP addresses of your nics in
Host1 and Host2? they should be in different networks (e.g. 10/8 and
172.16/16) for this to work.
