I tried to run my PC-Card-Network-Card with FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE.
If i insert the card, the pccardd recognizes the card as:
Telecom Device SuperSocket HPC100 inserted.
If the ifconfig is made, then the system hangs completely. If i remove
the card, then the system works.

I have a dialin-Box with FreeBSD 3.5. I use the callback (cbcp) option
from ppp and the problem is, that ppp waites about 30 seconds until he
starts the callback.
Is there any option to reduce this timeout?

I had similar problems in the past and I found that, if the "Internet
Connection Sharing" is enabled on the Windows BOX pptp doesen't work
anymore in the right way.

hat's not true, libalias (=natd) very well supports PPTP-nat. Maybe the
problem is in your firewall. Firewalls have to pass protocl 47 (=GRE) in
order to get PPTP to work.
