31-Bit IPv4 Prefixes

Hi all, We've just been allocated a /31 for a point-to-point over ethernet. Any idea if FreeBSD supports 31-bit prefixes as per RFC 3021? All I'm getting are: arp: 00:02:4a:9c:b8:81 attempts to modify permanent entry for xx.xx.xx.xx on em2.3211 Regards, Lee. -- Lee Johnsto

FreeBSD 5.4 - TCP MD5

Hi, I'm trying to configure a 5.4 box with Quagga to support TCP MD5 Passwords. I've achieved this previously with 4.10, but when I try to add the following kernel options, 5.4 doesn't like it: options FAST_IPSEC options crypto options TCP_MD5 config gives: VENUS: unknown option "TCP_MD5"

Hi Mathias, I've managed to get Quagga + FreeBSD 4.x/5.x to establish BGP sessions with Cisco routers with MD5 password authentication. You'll need to ensure you build Quagga with MD5 support (the current port gives you the option during build), compile your kernel with relevant TCP_SIGNATUR
