Hi all,
We've just been allocated a /31 for a point-to-point over ethernet. Any
idea if FreeBSD supports 31-bit prefixes as per RFC 3021? All I'm
getting are:
arp: 00:02:4a:9c:b8:81 attempts to modify permanent entry for
xx.xx.xx.xx on em2.3211

Lee.

nderstand the sudden increase.
My only other though is that some could be port scanning, or someone has
just been exploited.
Appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm trying to configure a 5.4 box with Quagga to support TCP MD5 Passwords.
I've achieved this previously with 4.10, but when I try to add the

options FAST_IPSEC
options crypto
options TCP_MD5
config gives:
VENUS: unknown option "TCP_MD5"
Hi Kris,
Thanks for your reply.. I've checked /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/NOTES but can't
see any mention of the options anymore.. Any other ideas?
Regards,
Lee.

Wasn't aware that file existed sorry. For future reference if anyone else
should need to get TCP MD5 Signatures working on 5.x with Quagga the
correct kernel lines are:

device crypto
options FAST_IPSEC

Hi Mathias,
I've managed to get Quagga + FreeBSD 4.x/5.x to establish BGP sessions with
Cisco routers with MD5 password authentication.
You'll need to ensure you build Quagga with MD5 support (the current port
gives you the option during build), compile your kernel with relevant
