Issue with TCPdump

2015-04-06 Thread Dan Mahoney
Hey all, Here at ISC, we're seeing a weird issue with the tcpdump command in 10.0-RELEASE. I'm hoping someone can take a look. -- We have an F-root stats collector that we run as part of an annual event to gather data across various root servers. It uses the following tcpdump syntax: /usr

How likely is it that we can get a kernel tweak for 11.1 so the tcpmd5.ko module works?

to add: 1) IPSEC_SUPPORT to base without waiting for 11.2? (After all, IPSEC itself is already in the base kernel). or 2) Building another module that would add the necessary IPSEC_SUPPORT knobs so TCPMD5 loads without needing to modify the shipped

d I've examined both nets carefully) there's no firewalls in place, I should not need to make any allowances on my nat firewall because I'm simply running a remote, not a host. Can anyone offer any advice? -Dan Mahoney -- "SOY BOMB!" -The Chest of the nameless
