Since the iwi driver doesn't want to join the wireless network at work (I
opened up a pr for it), I decided to try the ath driver instead.
The card is an Atheros 5212.

I get similar errors, but only when trying to connect to a particular
wireless network (at work). I can connect to the one I have at home,

wireless network at work I updated to -CURRENT to see if I'd have any

Unfortunately, that didn't work out so I was decided to revert to the
