Hi!
Please give me advice on how to contribute new small feature
to sendmail vendor code? I've discussed it in comp.mail.sendmail,
it adds new flag -F to socketmap definition so ruleset may tell
socketmap's permanent lookup failure (PERM) from 'not found' (NOTFOUND

I think a solution could be to make virecover called later on.
Why are rpc.lockd and rpc.statd not started directly after
rpcbind?
Here is some more output.

Hi, I've had this problem for a
few days now, we have a small dial-up ISP and when users
ets a 206.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address and they attempt to
check mail it takes a good 2-3 minutes before the sendmail
connection starts, which is an obvious problem because of the timeouts on email
clients (and.. 2-3 minutes is just bad). I've been kinda
asking around on comp.mail.sendmail about this

Tony,
Actually, it turned out to be a little more subtle. The DOMAIN(generic)
directive includes /usr/share/sendmail/cf/generic.m4, which has the line
EXPOSED_USER(`root'), which was the exact cause of the error I was getting.
I copied generic.m4 to int.m4,
