My packet traces show that FreeBSD 4.5 TCP connections conatin TCP timestamp
option in the TCP header. So, the TCP/IP header size is 52 bytes (instead of
40) most of the time.
Is there a reason for including the timestamp option on most of the TCP
packets?

Has anyone successfully setup an IPSEC tunnel between a FreeBSD box and a
Cisco router? If positive, can you tell me how to do it?
Thanks,
John
