I have a FreeBSD4.4 box running as a firewall/natd system for a small
workgoup.
Everything is working fine, but IP's are being handed out backwards!
(i.e. 1st box gets 192.168.1.253, 2nd Box gets 192.168.1.252, etc.)
I've never seen this before on any other system, any ideas??
Thanks in advance
Anyone have any ideas on why this program wouldn't work through a
FreeBSD 4.4 system using NAT & IPFW??
I can connect to systems outside on the Internet, but not internal
systems on the same subnet.
INTERNET---
[1] >> <216.120.x.x>
[2] >> <192.168.1.1>
Has anyone successfully configured an Intel PRO 2011 wireless device??
That and a modem issue on my laptop are the only things that have stopped me from
switching from MS (ick!) to FreeBSD.

Just tried it on a 4.4-RELEASE box and it appears to work :)

Has anyone used LaBrea successfully on a FreeBSD box?
It's sounds very cool, basically it "traps" systems scanning your network (i.e. nimda
or code red infected).

I have a FreeBSD (4.3) system running dhcpd, ipfw, and natd. 2 NICS one
external net (internet), and 1 internal net.
Everything is working normally, I can connect with all internal systems to
web/ftp/email/ssh, etc. services.
I am getting console error messages stating;

Use DIG! Much better than nslookup!
unstable# dig ibm.com

You need the below line in your .mc file;
FEATURE(domaintable, `hash -o /etc/mail/domaintable')
the file domaintable would include 1 line;
kanga.int.strauser.com strauser.com
That should take care of it...
