What i'd really like would be to get a 10/100/1000 managed switch but
they want way too much for them to justify one for a home network :-(

if I use the GENERIC kernel or
a custom kernel with all the extra stuff removed.
I have also tried a different Linksys ethernet switch with the same
results. I don't have another vendor to try unfortunately.
Anyone have any clues on this bizarre problem?
