A couple of thoughts:
Is your client employing ipsec/isakmp?
If so, has your client ensured that the setkey -P entries
have been pushed into the kernel?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but from (a foggy) memory
GRE in a tunnel mode such as this, employs the gif
device, is the routing/firewalling allowi
atabase of the stats, via a cron job.
