Ok. I have found a bug in mountd that might have
resulting in what you observed.
When mountd receives a SIGHUP, it is supposed to
update the exports in the kernel with all entries
that have changed.

Ok, this is getting weird.
Yesterday I reproduced the problem.
To-day I did what I thought was exactly the
same thing to reproduce the problem and..
it doesn't reproduce (ie the IPv6 export
works fine).
