With regarding to net.ipv4.ip_nonlocal_bind for FreeBSD 7.2, Is there
any equivalent parameters I I have to tune or has it been *built-in*
to the freebsd 7.2 kernel?

OpenBSD team is abandon the altq project.
Maybe FreeBSD team does not come as OpenBSD team.
In Kernel is present "options ALTQ_CDNR # Traffic conditioner",
that is may be used for simple ingress traffic shaping (like
dummynet). Maybe y
Among other things, more control -- including an easy way to cut off bandwidth
hogs and abusers -- and a walled garden that is better able to hijack browsers
(the one in pfsense often fails). We actually have quite a few things we'd like
to implement. More offlist if you'd like.
