several cores (4 to 8). Which one of the available filters
(IPFW, IPF, PF) will provide the best performance on such

Check the ipfw(8) manual (includes examples) or rather go for pf
(packetfilter) and check the pf.conf(5) manual. For pf you just need to add
something like "antispoof for lo0".

Dear all.
I am a newbie of FreeBSD, would like to get alot of information about FreeBSD

While swi1:net (aka netgraph) is using 100% of CPU time m_tag_locate() and
