you are correct.. diversion is difficult because returned packets are handed tothe IPinout code which is obviously wrong for a bridged packet.. It's nto so complicated code however, so you may consider fully understanding the problem and solving it if you want a project :-) On Thu, 2 May 2002,

PPPoE performance difference

I had a friend that was claiming that they were seeing poor PPPoE performance from FreeBSD 4.4 as compared to Win2K. Since he is in Japan and I am in the US its a bit difficult to do hands on trouble shooting. So I decided to set up my on PPPoE server and see if I could reduplicate any of his cl
