motherboards, they are going to drop many of the legacy ports (like PS/2
mouse and keyboard). So, this may soon become a more common situation.

I keep my src tree updated with cvsup, but I start to accumulate
patches to kernel or programs that I'd like to include automatically
each time I recompile the kernel (pretty often) or I do a "make world"
(much less often).
Those are usually patches that have been already put forward to the
attent

Does the -CURRENT kldload(8), and/or loader(8), understand how to
decompress gzip/bzip kernel modules? I'm assuming it is possible, but I
haven't seen that done in the wild, or documented.
